As a School Psychologist, I have education and experience with using evidence and research-based interventions and strategies to support those with and without disabilities. ​
My undergraduate degree was earned from Elmhurst University in Psychology, with a minor in Art. After graduating, I began substitute teaching and working as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT). ​
While substitute teaching and working as a RBT, I attended National Louis University, where I earned my Education Specialist degree in School Psychology. I have certificates in Character Education and Stress and Anxiety Management.​
I have experience working with various populations in small and large districts and a range of socio-economic statuses. I am passionate about advocating for what is best for children and providing my clients with quality service to support their goals.

I am a dedicated School Counselor with 12 years of counseling experience and a strong background in education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s degree in School and Community Counseling from DePaul University.
My career began as a teacher, and I now serve as a school counselor, supporting students across diverse populations in both low- and high-socioeconomic communities. I specialize in using evidence-based and research-driven interventions to address a variety of needs, ensuring all students receive the support they need to thrive. Passionate about student success, I am committed to creating concrete, individualized plans that empower students to achieve their goals both in school and in life.

Through my education as a school psychologist, I’ve learned and implemented various evidence and research-based interventions to support diverse learners. I’m passionate about identifying each student's individual, unique skill set and help foster their growth in areas of need.
I earned my undergraduate degree from North Central College in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology. After graduating, I began working as a teaching assistant at a therapeutic school for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
While working as a teaching assistant, I attended Loyola University Chicago, where I earned my Education Specialist degree in School Psychology.
My goal as a school psychologist and coach is to empower students to learn and access tools and strategies to understand their needs and ultimately, build their independence.
Alex Crawford

I began my career as a tutor and have committed my professional career to supporting success across diverse colleges (community colleges like Harper College to elite universities like Stanford University). With over ten years of experience, I help clients develop new executive function strategies, support clients in challenging transitions, and encourage clients to grow in resilience and confidence.
I am committed to client-centered, holistic approaches and research-based practices. I am pursuing my ICF ACC certification. I partner with my clients to help them discover strategies that are tailored to them and, I embrace flexibility to work WITH you and how YOU think. I meet you where you’re at so we can walk together on your journey.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy training for my second degree blackbelt in karate, walking my two Formosan Mountain Dogs, cooking new recipes, completing Pokedexes, and traveling.
