6. What are Katie's qualifications?
I have extensive experience in executive functioning coaching. My formal education is in Psychology, with an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology. I have additional training in stress and anxiety management through ASCA. I have experience in the school and private practice settings. As a School Psychologist, I have extensive training and experience with IEP and Section 504 processes and evaluations.

I begin with an initial intake to understand each client's specific challenges and goals. Based on this assessment, I work with the client/family to develop a personalized coaching plan that includes strategies and tools to address the client's unique needs.

My advocacy process involves collaborating with families and schools to ensure that students receive support to match their needs. I begin with a consultation to identify what the family is hoping to gain through working with an advocate. After determining if I am a good fit for the family, I ask them to share any records they have related to their child's education with me, then schedule times to discuss and plan next steps.
